Have been down the road of university and it was a total waste of time either the tutors didn’t want to teach or had no real idea, what they where teaching such as flash animation or computer 3d work really crap tution.

So my humble opinion is go learn it yourself get the manual and sit down, read it from cover to cover and you will know more than most professors in higher education.

I think the book may have been geared toward those who don’t have the opportunity to go to college, not those who would choose not to. Sure, they could struggle with possible Federal Aid, scholarships, etc., but even that is not available to everyone, and absolutely byzantine to many it is. There’s a huge percentage of the world (even in Northern America) that still has to struggle through life without the benefits of a university education.

That said, yes, get a degree in business and learn Japanese. Christ I needed someone to tell me THAT when I was 18. Not just “stay in school”.
