Work In Comics: In the News @ Hero Spy
Hero Spy just put up an article called “Do You Want To Work In Comics”. We would like to send out a thank you to Hero Spy ( www.Herospy.com ). Here an excerpt:
So you’ve written a killer comic book script. It’s completely original. The characters are flawlessly cool. The topics are so red hot that it’s nearly guaranteed that your new book will take the comic world by storm. The only problems are… you have no artistic skill, no artist friends and no idea how to find someone to illustrate your grand opus. In the past your options were limited at best. You either had to haunt the comic book forums asking for help, or tread through artists ally at your local comic con hoping to meet Miss or Mr. right. I can tell you from years of experience that finding an artist can be rough and putting together a comic team (artist, lettering, writer) can be, or at least feel, near impossible….
